Schitt's Creek

When filthy-rich video store magnate Johnny Rose and his family suddenly find themselves broke, they are forced to leave their pampered lives to regroup and rebuild their empire from within the rural city limits of their only remaining asset - Schitt's Creek, an armpit of a town they once bought as a joke.

02E05 - Bob's Bagels

As Johnny, Bob and Roland are at the garage cum Johnny's office, Roland asks Johnny why he needs an office, namely what business is he thinking about starting. As he has no concrete business in mind, Johnny, purely as an example, mentions that he sometimes craves a good bagel but that there is no bagel shop in town. Later, Johnny is surprised that Bob is running with the idea of opening a bagel shop with no true business plan in place, basically running by the seat of his pants while continually asking Johnny what needs to be done to realize the "plan". While Johnny tries to convince Bob that there is no "plan" and only a scant outline of an "example", Roland has his own ideas as a wannabe not so silent non-investing partner. David has decided to apply for his first ever job, working at an upscale high end boutique in Elmdale, the interview to which he requires Stevie to drive him. David is horrified to learn upon his arrival that the upscale boutique is the Blouse Barn, Wendy the owner who he insulted the one and only time he was in the store. David is even somewhat more horrified when his interview is extended beyond what he thought would be a quick boot out by Wendy. This extension requires some outside assistance for David to succeed. And Alexis is in bed with a cold. Without money, Moira mourns the fact that they can no longer foist their medical problems on professionals, and as such Moira may actually have to, gasp, touch a sick Alexis.
